Beethoven Emperor Concerto

200 years, one month and one day ago (28 Nov 1811) Beethoven’s beloved Emperor Concerto had it’s premiere in Leipzig. The piece was enthusiastically received by the audience and the review in the Allgemeine Zeitung described it as” undoubtedly one of the most original, imaginative, effective but also the most difficult of all existing concertos.”

Well excited to play this amazing piece with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Christopher Warren Green at the Barbican Hall this evening. Drinks after!!!
