Recording at BBC Radio 3

The sun is shining and I’m back at BBC Radio 3 recording ☀️ — at BBC Broadcasting House.

With the Honorary Consul of Romania in Bristol Razvan Constantinescu after our sold out concert last night. So touched to be welcomed by a group of fellow Romanians studying Economics & Finance at University of Bristol. Thank you to all for a very special night!

Reunited with Ewa Strusińska – Conductor for Mozart 27. Happy 30th anniversary Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra!

Today I made Mărțisor macaroons (my own creation!) and brought them to BBC Radio 3. Together with Enescu, Lipatti and Filtsch, we brought a bit of spring in the studio

Tune in tomorrow on BBC Radio 3 around 6 pm to hear me chat to Sean Rafferty and play lots of gorgeous music! Listen here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08g55qg

Last time Ewa Strusińska – Conductor and I played together was in Poland, in the newly opened Filharmonia im. Mieczysława Karłowicza w Szczecinie. Next week we are at St George’s Bristol for Mozart 27, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the wonderful Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra. Join us!

Magical evening on my debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Southbank Centre. A dream come true, can’t describe the joy of playing in front of a packed Royal Festival Hall with sooooo many friends in the audience. A huge hug to all and thank you for all your support!

Rehearsing Rachmaninov 2 and Brief Encounter with London Philharmonic Orchestra. See you all tomorrow!

Just found out the boat scene in Brief Encounter was filmed in Regent’s Park so we’re on a mission to find the right bridge! After all, you all know I like my research before each concert 😉 See you at the Southbank Centre on Tuesday for gorgeous Rachmaninov with the London Philharmonic Orchestra!
