Brilliant first performance last night in Schwerin with lovely friends on stage. This morning was the first workshop in Friedensschule for Rhapsody in Schools with a lot of children, inspiring them and getting inspired myself. Music is a beautiful thing:-) with Kerstin Klaholz and Daniel Huppert.

Travelled for 7 hours (!!!) to Wales and had a very enjoyable concert this evening in Cardigan. The audience was amazing and my hosts were incredibly welcoming- the Lady of the house is French, so it was very fitting to have a proper cheese board at the end of supper. Delicious! Henri Dutilleux was buried in a private ceremony today at the Paris cemetery of Montparnasse, beside his late wife, Genevieve Joy. Here is a little video about the three Preludes and a fragment of Le Jeu des Contraires

First concert with complete Chopin and Dutilleux preludes tonight. Such a lovely time in the beautiful house of Bob and Elisabeth Boas. Oh…and new dress also;-)
